Unlayer Studio is shutting down. Topol PRO is the replacement.

Studio and Topol PRO are the same kind of tool. Both are standalone web apps for designing responsive email templates without code. Both have a template gallery, both export to HTML, and both are built for people who care about how the email looks, not how it's plumbed. If you've been productive in Studio, the workflow transfers.

The Unlayer announcement is well handled: short, dated, points you at the export, gives you a support email, ends. No "exciting new chapter" theatre. Plenty of companies bungle their own shutdowns and Unlayer didn't, which is worth saying before getting into the migration.

The embeddable SDK side of Unlayer is unaffected, by the way. The company isn't dying. Unlayer is concentrating on developer tooling and walking away from the standalone designer category. The standalone tool Studio users have been paying for has until June 30, 2026.

The question Studio users are really asking when they see a new tool is whether switching is going to mean paying more to do the same job. For most, the honest answer is no.

Topol PRO exports to HTML5 and JSON, and connects directly to Brevo, Sendy, and Mailchimp. The output renders in Outlook and Gmail with the usual Outlook caveats every email tool ships with.

If your sending stack isn't on the direct-integration list, the HTML export is the bridge into whatever you use. That's the same workflow most Studio users were already running, just with a different editor in the middle.
